Single girls for homing

Marina

Picture
A large english type frosty point doe. The exact past of Marina isn't known but she was left out free in someone's garden where she had litters of baby bunnies. No safe housing was provided. As the other bunnies got older the rabbits would fight. Marina used to protect her elf by escaping from her garden onto the streets. Eventually environmental health complained she could cause people to crash on the road and so asked the owner to confine her. She was confined to a tiny hutch where she was very unhappy and the owner didn't feel she could afford to buy a decent bunny house for Marina and so she was handed over to us. She is now spayed and fully vaccinated and awaiting her husbun and dream home.

Shania

Picture
A large steel black doe, about 1 1/2 yrs old. This story did have a funny side to it but also very serious. Shania was bought from pets at home along with Mishka. Two young does appearing small sweet and innocent. A typical small hutch was purchased for them and a tiny a-frame. Alas they grew into teenage hormonal girls and quite naturally had one thing on their mind: "babies". They outgrew their hutch and so were left free range in the owner's garden. Not spayed and no bucks around they kept their selves entertained as they dug and dug and dug. Soon the whole small terrace garden was an amazing big soil rabbit burrow. It was extremely impressive but sadly the owner was not so impressed and was in despair. A lesson for everyone to learn is to SPAY your bunnies as this will suppress the hormones and their natural instinct to dig and build a nest. Also by providing a well balanced compromised home for bunnies they will not be stressed by a small hutch, neither will they take over your garden, but be content with their own special area.
