Darcy & Bruno BB
Darcy
Sex: doe - spayed
DOB: 2014
Description: orange lop
Date in: 07/09/2019
Special needs: tumour on lung
Bruno BB
Sex: Buck - neutered
DOB: 2017
Description: chocolate and white butterfly marked lop
Date in: 12/10/2019
Special needs: Dental disease, old fracture to jaw and sore hocks
Beautiful Darcy has come to us from WildAcre Warren along with her husbun, Bruno BB. Upon arrival in rescue it was clear she was incredibly hormonal and upon spaying she was found to have cancer, sadly this has spread to her lungs. Darcy loves lots of space and varied enrichment and usually enjoys attention provided her busy mind is kept entertained.
Bruno is a lovely rabbit who adores a fuss. Sadly he has misaligned incisors which could not be removed due to an old break in his jaw making surgery too risky. However, now his jaw is more stable we have been able to remove his incisors, Bruno also suffers with sore hocks.
Darcy and Bruno are available to sponsor on our sponsor the bunny scheme.

Darius
Sex: Buck - neutered DOB: 21/09/2012, born at rescue Description: Black and white crossbreed Date in: 21/09/2012 Special needs: Previous breaks to hind legs, mild respiratory issues, EC positive Tiptoe Sex: Doe - not neutered Date of birth: Approximately 2014 Description: black mini lop Date in: 06/06/2020 Special needs: None Darius is a sweet but shy rabbit, he is brother to David and Eta and all three were born at the rescue (on Caroline's bed). Darius was a devoted partner to Honour who came to us with a severe head tilt caused by EC but heartbreakingly she passed away after a short illness in 2018. Whilst Darius is shy, he's happy to except treats and nose rubs from those her knows well. He enjoys tunnelling in hay, snuggling with his wifebun and he loves being out in our binky area. Darius was bonded to 9 year old Olivia who spent most of her life in a tiny cage in a greenhouse only to be given up when the owners grandchildren lost interest. Olivia had chronic skin and respiratory issues meaning she was unsuitable for rehoming. They loved to snuggle and groom each other and sit in the binky area together. It has been so lovely to see Darius happy with a new partner, sadly however we had to make the decision to say goodbye to Olivia when her immune system started attacking itself and she developed multiple abscesses as well as her fur falling out and her chronic respiratory issues worsening. Darius was paired to cheeky Nethie, Lucy but sadly their bond broke down when he became ill and we had to make the difficult choice to separate them. After several months in foster with Lea until his megacolon had stabilised Darius was bonded to little Tiptoe. Tiptoe is an older girl who has spent her life in a tiny breeders hutch. She is lovely and a cheeky little character who is slowly getting used to some more space. We she arrived in rescue she was completely shut down and would barely move, we think she’s probably quite a bit older than we originally thought. Since being bonded with Darius, Tiptoe has been much happier. Darius is available to sponsor on our sponsorship scheme. |

Pod
Sex: Doe - spayed DOB: 2009 Description: Wild! Date in: 2009 Special needs: Snuffles Pod is both friendly and curious, she is always the first in the queue at dinner time. She also like to hide when it's time for them to go to bed! Pod does suffer with chronic snuffles. Sadly Pod is the only remaining wildie from our original group of four as she recently lost her brother, Cosmos to cancer. She was then bonded to lovely Boston a gentle black bunny who also suffered from respiratory issues. Sadly we lost Boston in December 2020 after his respiratory issues worsened. Pod has now been bonded to our lovely head tilt bunny, Ezra. |
