Fairy
Fairy
Sex: Doe - spayed
DOB: approximately 2018
Description: New Zealand white
Date in: 22/08/2022
Special needs: reoccurring ear mites
Fairy was one of 29 rabbits we’ve taken from a meat and fur farm which has now thankfully closed down. Many of the rabbits had ear mites, abscessed bite wounds, muscle wastage and dental issues due to the awful conditions they kept in.
Fairy can be a little nervous until she gets to know you, but once she does she enjoys a head rub, she also likes to snooze in the sun & loves a treat or ten too. She came to us with eye issues & one of the worst case of ear mites that we’ve ever seen.
After a failed bond at another rescue we decided to try her with Daz. Very sadly Daz was put to sleep on 9th May 2024 after his mobility issues worsened & we were no longer able to keep him pain free. She as then bonded to elderly giant Basil until he sadly passed away. Fairy would be available to rehome should the perfect home come along.
