Daz & Fairy
Daz
Sex: Buck - neutered
DOB: approximately 2018
Description: New Zealand white
Date in: 22/08/2022
Special needs: Neurological issues
Fairy
Sex: Doe - spayed
DOB: approximately 2018
Description: New Zealand white
Date in: 22/08/2022
Special needs: reoccurring ear mites
Daz & Fairy are two of 29 rabbits we’ve taken from a meat and fur farm which has now thankfully closed down. Many of the rabbits had ear mites, abscessed bite wounds, muscle wastage and dental issues due to the awful conditions they were kept in.
Daz is a gorgeous bun who loves a head rub and wants to make friends with everyone he meets despite having been treated so cruelly prior to his rescue, those of you that have met him will know that he’s a little bit special, sadly our vet believes his neurological issues are due to brain damage.
Daz has now been bonded to Fairy.
Fairy can be a little nervous until she gets to know you, but once she does she enjoys a head rub, she also likes to snooze in the sun. She came to us with eye issues & one of the worst case of ear mites that we’ve every seen.
After a failed bond at another rescue we decided to try her with Daz.

Beautiful Darcy has come to us from WildAcre Warren along with her husbun, Bruno BB. Upon arrival in rescue it was clear she was incredibly hormonal and upon spaying she was found to have cancer, sadly this has spread to her lungs. Darcy loves lots of space and varied enrichment and usually enjoys attention provided her busy mind is kept entertained.
Bruno is a lovely rabbit who adores a fuss. Sadly he has misaligned incisors which could not be removed due to an old break in his jaw making surgery too risky. However, now his jaw is more stable we have been able to remove his incisors, Bruno also suffers with sore hocks.
Darcy and Bruno are available to sponsor on our sponsor the bunny scheme.
