Minstrels & Tatty

Picture
Gorgeous three year old fluffster, Minstrels came to us as one of a large group of rabbits removed from a hoarding case. He’s a sweet boy who is slowly gaining confidence. Sadly Minstrels became very ill with liver issues so we made the decision to bond him to one of our permanent residents and after a rocky start Minstrels has finally found love and some confidence with attention seeking Tatty.
Originally found as a very ill stray suffering from fly strike, four year old Tatty has severe dental issues and is EC positive. She has come to us from Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary as she will need ongoing dental treatment. Despite her ongoing issues Tatty is a cheeky lively bun who loved people as much as she loves to play.

Ezra

Picture
Ezra is a lovely three year old lionhead who joined us from RSPCA Walsall.
Ezra is EC positive and also has head tilt as a result of an ear abscess that was left untreated by his previous owners.
We love Ezra! He is such a lively, cheerful bunny who doesn’t let his disability get him down.
Ezra has now been bonded to Pod.

Bruno BB & Darcy

Picture
5 year old Darcy and her husbun, 2 year old Bruno are some of our cheekiest bunnies, they love attention and enjoy playing out in our Binky area.
Beautiful Darcy has come to us from WildAcre Warren along with her husbun, Bruno BB. Upon arrival in rescue it was clear she was incredibly hormonal and upon spaying she was found to have cancer, sadly this has spread to her lungs. Darcy loves lots of space and varied enrichment and usually enjoys attention provided her busy mind is kept entertained.
Bruno is a lovely rabbit who adores a fuss. Sadly he has misaligned incisors which can not be removed due to an old break in his jaw making surgery too risky. His teeth are some of the worst our vet has ever seen and he is likely to need dentals throughout his life.

Darius (& Tiptoe)

Picture

Darius is a small black and white crossbred who was born at the rescue in September 2012, he is brother to David and Eta. As a youngster Darius unfortunately broke a hind leg, last year he fractured his other hind leg due to a genetic weakness.
Darius was bonded to our much adored head tilt bunny, Honour until she recently passed away, sadly the loss of his wifebun caused him to develop snuffles. He also has EC. He was then bonded to elderly Olivia whom he loved to snuggle up with. When she sadly passed away due to autoimmune issues we bonded him with Netherland Dwarf, Lucy, unfortunately Darius became unwell with megacolon disease and Lucy started to bully him so we made the sad decision to split them up.
Darius is now bonded to Tiptoe who spent many years living in a tiny 2ft breeding hutch. It’s been lovely to see Darius happy with a friend again.

Pod

Picture

Sadly we only have Pod remaining out of our beautiful wild quad.
Cosmos sadly developed an in-operable tumour and was helped to rainbow bridge in November 2019.
Pod was then bonded to gorgeous black bunny, Boston who also had respiratory issues, sadly we lost him in December 2020.
These siblings were hand-reared wild bunnies who arrived with us in 2009 as a group of youngsters after the litter were dug up accidentally by groundworkers.
Although they are a bit wary of humans they don’t know they were too humanised to be released back into the wild. With time they became more confident and Pod now loves the odd head rub as well as being hand fed.
They are keen escape artists, Cosmos can easily clear a four foot fence!
Sadly pod and her siblings were also chronic ‘snuffles’ bunnies.
Pod is now bonded to head tilt bunny, Ezra.
